The late Daniel Carranza from Clewiston, Florida, left behind a grieving community and his three children after his untimely passing on Wednesday, May 22, 2024. Daniel, a single father, lived happily with his children until his sudden death, which has left his family and friends struggling to cope with the loss and the financial burden of his funeral expenses.
Araceli Arreola Carranza, Daniel’s relative, has organized a fundraiser to help cover the costs associated with returning Daniel’s body to Mexico for a proper burial. The goal of the fundraiser is to raise $15,000, and so far, $2,150 has been collected from 17 donations. Contributions have come from various supporters, including Daniel Avila, who recently donated $300, and Jessica Aguas Mendoza, who provided the top donation of $500.
Araceli Arreola has been actively seeking support through social media, emphasizing the importance of every donation and share. She shared on Facebook, "I could use your help reaching my fundraising goal. Every single share and donation makes a difference."
The community’s response has been compassionate, but there is still a long way to go to meet the fundraiser’s goal. The funds are crucial for covering funeral expenses and any other related costs that may arise. The collective effort reflects the community’s solidarity and the deep respect they have for Daniel and his family.
