The late Craig Musselman Jr. from Altoona, Pennsylvania, passed away recently, leaving his family and community in mourning. His son, Bryson Musselman, has taken on the daunting task of arranging his memorial and coping with the associated financial burdens.
Bryson Musselman created a GoFundMe campaign to raise $7,000 to cover the costs of his father’s funeral and other related expenses. As of now, the campaign has raised $180 from six donations. Bryson expressed his deep sorrow and financial difficulties, stating, "With a heavy heart, I share the news of the passing of my father, Craig A. Musselman Jr. His sudden departure has left a void in our lives and as we navigate through this difficult time, we are faced with significant financial challenges that make it hard to cover the costs of his memorial and other related expenses."
Bryson described his father as a spirited man with good intentions, often met with limited abilities, and someone who heavily relied on those who cared for him most. Now, Bryson and his family are seeking support from their community. "I am currently facing financial hardships and am unable to afford the necessary expenses to give my father the farewell he deserves. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference and help us honor his memory," Bryson shared on the fundraising page.
Community members have started to rally around the Musselman family. Donations have been made by Logan Rossell ($20), Millie Miller ($50), Brandi Metts ($20), Julia Adams ($20), and Jordyn DeGiorgis ($50). Brayden Marra, Craig’s partner, also appealed for support on Facebook, saying, "Hello friends and family, It would mean so much if you could take a look at the GoFundMe page. Please donate or share to help in this difficult time. My boyfriend is such a hard worker. He is one of the most caring people I have ever met. Kind words and support mean the world."
This outpouring of support highlights the community’s efforts to help the Musselman family in their time of need, demonstrating the power of collective compassion and solidarity in the face of personal tragedy.
