Today, New Franken mourns the loss of Cole Blasier, a man remembered for his character, charisma, and love for family, friends, and the outdoors. Cole’s passing has left a deep void in the hearts of those who knew him.
Lonney Goman, a close friend and colleague, expressed his sorrow on Facebook, highlighting Cole’s vibrant spirit and his dedication to helping others, especially children, during their fishing adventures. Cole worked at Green Bay Trophy Fishing, Kinns Sport Fishing, and Joski Sewer Services. He attended Luxemburg-Casco High School and lived in New Franken, Wisconsin.
In response to Cole’s sudden passing, Lisa Frisque has organized a fundraiser to support his family during this difficult time. The campaign aims to raise $20,000 to cover unexpected medical expenses and upcoming funeral costs. As of now, $935 has been raised from 12 donations. Mary Wiesner made the top donation of $250, followed by Daniel Clermont with $100. The community is rallying together to offer financial support and share their memories of Cole.
The funeral service date is yet to be determined, but the outpouring of support underscores the impact Cole had on those around him. His love for the outdoors and his ability to connect with people, especially children, left a lasting impression. The fundraiser is a testament to the community’s desire to honor his memory and assist his grieving family.
