The late Caitlin Price from Lewisburg, Tennessee, was a cherished member of her community. Her sudden passing on June 29, 2024, has left her family and friends heartbroken and struggling to cope with the loss.
On that fateful Saturday, Caitlin and her husband Bryon took their children, Amelia, Piper, and River, to Noah’s Landing for River’s first motocross race. After the race, Caitlin drove home with Amelia and Piper while Bryon and River followed later. When Bryon and River arrived home before the girls, Bryon became worried and called Caitlin, but received no response. Soon after, Bryon received a devastating call from the police informing him of a terrible accident. Amelia and Piper were seriously injured and taken to the hospital, but Caitlin did not survive.
The community has rallied around the Price family during this difficult time. A GoFundMe campaign organized by the Alvarez Family has raised $4,750 of its $10,000 goal to help cover funeral costs for Caitlin and the medical expenses for Amelia and Piper. The campaign has seen generous donations, with Jesse Alvarez contributing $1,000 as the top donation, followed by Juan Alvarez who also donated $1,000.
Lisa Farmer Thomas expressed her sorrow on Facebook, sharing, "We are heartbroken. Caitlin has kept our 2-year-old grandbaby Leyton Bryn for the past year while Lexi and Mason worked. Leyton loved her. We all did and will be forever grateful for her. Please help this sweet family if you can as the days ahead will be challenging for her husband and children."
The Price family is in dire need of prayers and financial support to navigate through this challenging period. The fundraiser highlights the importance of community support in times of grief and the unexpected challenges families face after such tragedies.
