The late Brian Allen Stover, affectionately known as "Sarge," was from Marion, Ohio. His unexpected passing on July 2, 2024, has left his family and community in profound grief. Brian was a hardworking man and the sole provider for his family, which included his wife, Tina, their children, and grandchildren. His niece, Jessica Meddings, has organized a GoFundMe campaign to help alleviate the financial burden of his funeral costs, medical bills, and other unexpected expenses.
Brian’s death came after a prolonged battle due to medical negligence during a routine visit for oxygen. This led to him being on a ventilator and other medical equipment, with his family praying for a miracle during countless sleepless nights. Sadly, he passed away, leaving his loved ones devastated.
Jessica Meddings shared her heartfelt plea on the GoFundMe page: "Unexpected Tragedy Has Shattered Our Family. My Uncle Brian (Sarge) Was Going In For Oxygen And Negligence Of Medical Professional Caused Him To Fight For His Life For Countless Weeks & Sleepless Nights While We All Prayed For A Miracle. Leaving Him On A Vent And On Other Medical Equipment."
The community has been called upon to help ease the financial strain on Brian’s family. Teresa Cassidy expressed her condolences on Facebook, saying, "Brian was loved tremendously. He was a pillar of strength for his family. My heart goes out to Tina and their kids."
The fundraiser aims to collect $25,000 to cover the necessary expenses. Jessica emphasized the importance of continued prayers for their family, saying, "Please Help Ease The Burden Of Funeral Cost, Medical Bills, Any Miscellaneous Unexpected Cost & Financial Hardships They Will Endure (Bills) Etc. Keep Praying For Our Family Continuously! Brian, My Aunt Tina, Their Childrens & Grandbabies!! God Bless & Thank You So Very Much & Please Share!!"
