Joanne Sa’u wrote, "My heart has been heavy these past few days for my dear Sister Rowena Iamanu & her family for the passing of my dear niece that’s been going through her battles with Lupus. She has finally gained her wings to be with her Father in Heaven. Lord, please comfort my family during these difficult times & thank you, Lord, for reminding us that this life we are living in is temporary, & that you will never leave us. And we will reunite with you someday. Family and friends, please donate anything you can to help my family celebrate my dear niece’s short life here on Earth. We love you, Brendalynn. Thank you in advance for your support and prayers."

Donations have come from several generous individuals, including an anonymous donor who contributed $200 and others who gave amounts ranging from $50 to $100.
