Bradley "Scott" Weichelt, a beloved father, grandfather, father-in-law, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on Thursday, June 13th, at 10:00 pm. He was 64 years old. Scott was known for his love of fishing and his ability to make people laugh, even during his illness. His family and friends are deeply mourning his loss and struggling to cope without him.
Scott’s daughter, Crystal Kivett Weichelt, shared on Facebook, "Our beloved Father, Grandfather, Father In Law, Brother, Uncle and Friend Bradley ‘Scott’ Weichelt left this world on Thursday June 13th at 10:00 pm to be with Jesus at the age of 64. Scott loved to fish and always kept you laughing even at his sickest. He will be missed by many as we try to go on without him."
Scott did not have life insurance, but he had expressed a wish to be cremated and have a small memorial. His family is honoring these wishes and has organized a GoFundMe campaign to cover the costs. Crystal Weichelt is organizing this fundraiser, which has raised $540 so far out of a $3,000 goal.
Friends and family have expressed their condolences and shared their memories on Facebook. Ashley Dawn wrote, "I love you guys. If you need anything please don’t hesitate." Vickie Edmonds commented, "I’m sorry for your loss. Prayers for you & your husband." Keith Baker added, "Sorry for your loss. Prayers for you and your family. He always could make you laugh. Gone but never forgotten."
