Benjamin Hall tragically passed away on June 22, 2024, at the young age of 24. Ben was on his way home from work, eagerly anticipating celebrating his daughter Bella-Rose’s first birthday. Unfortunately, a fatal collision on the motorway cut his life short.
On that fateful day, Ben’s van collided with a stationary lorry, which had halted due to a previous accident. Despite the police’s efforts to save him, Ben succumbed to his injuries at the scene. His last words were a heartbreaking testament to his devotion: “I need to get home for my baby daughter’s birthday. It’s her first birthday today.”
Ben leaves behind his fiancée Amy, 23, and their daughter Bella-Rose. Their love story began in their teenage years, and they had planned a future together, filled with dreams and hopes. Now, Amy faces the unimaginable challenge of raising their daughter alone while coping with profound grief.
A fundraiser has been organized by Orrianna Cox to support Amy and Bella-Rose during this difficult time. The goal is to raise £10,000 to cover the costs of Ben’s funeral and to help Amy as she navigates life as a single mother. So far, £150 has been raised from four donations, including contributions from C.a Edwards, Layla Twinn, Chris Clements, and an anonymous donor.
Sophie Goddard, a friend of Ben’s, shared a heartfelt post on Facebook, urging the community to support the fundraiser. She described the painful reality of losing someone so young and full of life, emphasizing the suddenness of the tragedy: “Life can change in less than 30 seconds. The time it’s taken you to read this. Just think about that for a moment please.”
The family is deeply grateful for any support during this devastating time. Ben was a dedicated father and partner who worked tirelessly to provide for his family. Now, in his memory, his loved ones seek to give him the beautiful send-off he deserves.
