The community is reeling from the sudden loss of Becky Evans, who passed away unexpectedly on the 5th of May after becoming very unwell in less than a month. Described as the life and soul of any party and fiercely loyal to her family and friends, Becky’s death has left a significant void.
Her aunt, Patricia Richardson, has initiated a fundraising campaign to support Becky’s partner, Scott, and their two young children, Evan and Freddie, during this difficult time. The fundraiser aims to alleviate the financial burdens on Scott so he can focus on the wellbeing of himself and the boys. So far, the campaign has raised £980 of its £5,000 goal, with contributions from 29 donors.
Friends and family have flooded social media with tributes to Becky, highlighting her generous nature and the positive impact she had on those around her. Carey Evans, a close friend of the family, expressed her support on Facebook, urging people to "Please share and donate if you can to support Becky Evans’ lovely boys xx."
As the community comes together to support Scott and the children, the sense of loss is palpable, but so is the outpouring of love and support for Becky’s memory. Every donation and message of support is a testament to her lasting influence and the bonds she forged during her life.
