The late Beck Fullerton was from Winnipeg. The community and his family are struggling to cope with his tragic loss over the weekend. Beck’s mother, Nancy Fullerton, and his sister, Scotia, are facing not only emotional devastation but also the overwhelming costs associated with his sudden passing. Tara O’Connor has organized a fundraiser to help support the family during this difficult time, aiming to raise $10,000.
Beck was known for his big personality and generous spirit. He had a unique ability to make everyone around him feel loved and seen, always offering help and sharing his contagious smile. His unexpected departure has left a significant void in the lives of those who knew him.
Tara Candace, a close friend, shared her heartfelt plea on Facebook, urging everyone to support Nancy Fullerton, who had been there for her during her own loss in 2011. She wrote, "I don’t do this often but I’m asking all my friends and family to open their hearts and offer some support to my dear friend Nancy Fullerton who tragically lost her son Beck Fullerton on the weekend. When I lost my brother Ryan O’Connor in 2011 Nancy was there for me and my family and now I’m asking all of you to please do the same for her. Every donation helps."
The fundraiser has seen an outpouring of support, with $615 CAD raised so far from five donations. Contributions have come from various individuals, including Kelly Jones and Tara O’Connor herself. Each donation, no matter the size, is a step towards helping Nancy and Scotia navigate this heartbreaking journey and focus on their healing.
In this time of profound loss, the community’s compassion and generosity are essential. Tara O’Connor’s GoFundMe page for Beck Fullerton reflects the collective effort to support a grieving family and honor Beck’s memory.
