Austin Kelly, a beloved member of the Skidway Lake community in Michigan, tragically lost his life in a fatal motorcycle accident.
In the wake of this devastating event, his family and friends are coming together to support his grandparents, affectionately known as “dama and papa,” through the Austin Kelly Memorial Funds organized by Haylee Spreen.
This fundraiser aims to cover funeral costs and other after-life expenses, helping ease the financial burden on Austin’s family during this difficult time.
Nicholas Hall, a friend of the family, shared the fundraiser on Facebook, urging the community to contribute: “Here is the gofundme for dama and papa, anything helps. Share as well. Thank you.”
The fundraiser has so far raised $125 of its $5,000 goal, with contributions from donors including an anonymous supporter and SnowBelt Photography.
In addition to financial support, the community plans to host an off-road benefit ride in Austin’s memory, welcoming all types of vehicles to participate.
This event, while not requiring a donation to join, encourages any support to assist Austin’s family further.
Austin is remembered as a generous person who “would give you the shirt off his back,” making this communal effort a fitting tribute to his giving spirit.
