The late Araldo Hernandez was from Wynnewood, Oklahoma. The community and his family are struggling to prepare his burial and cope with the devastating loss. Araldo, a beloved figure in the town, passed away unexpectedly on June 16, 2024, at a very young age.
Wynnewood Cheerleading expressed their sorrow on Facebook, stating, "Wynnewood community, we have lost one of our own far too soon. Araldo was a mighty savage and loved this town. If you can help in any way here is the go fund me link. Please pray for his family and friends in the days, weeks, months and years ahead. You are so missed Araldo."
Mallori Dixon has organized a GoFundMe campaign to support Araldo’s funeral costs. The fundraiser, titled "Support for Araldo Hernandez’s Funeral Costs," aims to raise $5,000. So far, $895 has been raised through 10 donations. Contributors include Mattea Blackwood, who donated $50, TJ Grove with a $200 donation, and Matthew Christoffersen, also donating $200.
Mallori Dixon shared her heartfelt words on the fundraiser page: "My name is Mallori Dixon, and a group of us that love Araldo Hernandez and his family are raising money to help with funeral arrangements. Araldo unexpectedly passed away on June 16th, 2024, at a very young age. He was a young man with a heart of gold and would help anyone he could. He was a loving son, brother, fierce friend, great athlete, protector and above all a man of God. His passing has left a huge hole in the lives of those that had the privilege of knowing him and loving him. If you can help monetarily in any way, the Hernandez family would greatly appreciate it."
The community is rallying around this fundraiser to help the Hernandez family in their time of need.
