The late Anna Hunt’s life tragically ended on Monday night, June 17, 2024, at the young age of 23. She is survived by her 17-month-old son, River, and a grieving family. Anna’s sister, Morgan Cobb, is spearheading a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for a beautiful ceremony to celebrate Anna’s life and to ensure a stable, healthy, and safe future for River. The goal is to raise $15,000, and so far, they have received $70 from two donations.
The community has shown an outpouring of sympathy and support. Morgan Cobb shared on Facebook, "Anna Hunt’s life tragically ended on Monday night, June 17, 2024. This GoFundMe will be used to provide a beautiful ceremony to celebrate the life of Anna as well as ensure a stable, healthy and safe future for her son."
Friends and acquaintances have expressed their condolences on Facebook. Denee Poole wrote, "She was so beautiful. She deserved so much more from this life." Samantha Au shared, "I’m so sorry that your family is having to endure this tragic loss. I love you both so much." Rhonda Ward Cole simply stated, "So sorry for your loss."
Morgan Cobb is determined to provide a fitting tribute to Anna while also securing the future for River. "All donations will be used on the memorial, court-related expenses, and continued support for River," Morgan explained in the GoFundMe campaign description.
The family is also mindful of maintaining respect during this difficult time. They have addressed the situation regarding some allegations circulating on Facebook, stating, "Any theatrics on this post will be quickly recorded and shut down."
Despite the grief and challenges they face, the community’s support and the ongoing fundraiser reflect a collective effort to honor Anna’s memory and help her family navigate this painful period.
