The late Amrinder Singh Chahal tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident outside of Ottawa, Canada, on May 15th. Amrinder’s untimely death has left his family and friends in deep mourning. His wife, Tamari Tsintsadze, shared the heartbreaking news and has organized a GoFundMe campaign to support funeral arrangements and last rites.
Amrinder was fondly remembered for his love of cricket, sweet treats, fun times with friends, and his passion for the music of KS Makhan. He leaves behind his wife, sister, and many loved cousins and friends. The community has started to come together to support the grieving family, but there is still a long way to go to meet the fundraising goal.
Tamari, in her heartfelt message, expressed the sudden loss and the financial burden it has placed on the family. As of now, the GoFundMe campaign has raised $150 CAD of the $15,000 goal, with contributions from Ravneet Kaur Bhardwaj and Amolpreet Kaur.
The Ottawa Valley Cricket Council also shared their condolences and urged the community to support the fundraiser. Ali Shah commented, "R.i.P" on Facebook, reflecting the collective sorrow felt by those who knew Amrinder.
This fundraiser is not only a means to cover the funeral costs but also a testament to the impact Amrinder had on those around him. The family appreciates any support to help them through this difficult time.
