The late Amanda Diane Clephar, who was from Orlando, Florida, tragically passed away on the morning of May 26, 2024. Amanda, born on December 10, 1992, was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Her sudden death has left her family and friends in deep sorrow and facing unexpected financial burdens.
Amanda was known for her incredible spirit, contagious laughter, and generosity. She brought joy and optimism to any situation and was always willing to help others. She was particularly passionate about advocating for sexual abuse survivors through her organization, I AM NOT MY PAST. Amanda’s resilience and determination made her a warrior in every sense.
She is survived by her daughter, Zakiyya Harlee, her parents Rose Aris and Daniel Clephar, and her five siblings: Rollin Clephar, Lauren Clephar, Danly Clephar, Lucendy Cherizier, and Rosindah Clephar Singh. Amanda was also a devoted aunt to four nephews and two nieces. Her entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to her family and friends were evident in everything she did.
In the wake of her passing, her family has created a GoFundMe campaign to help cover the funeral expenses. Organized by her sister, Rosindah Clephar Singh, the campaign has raised $720 of its $15,000 goal from 25 donations. They are asking for support to alleviate the financial burden during this difficult time and to honor Amanda’s memory.
Amanda’s impact on those around her was profound, and her family is asking everyone who knew her to consider donating or sharing the fundraiser to help them meet their goal.
