Alan, born on July 23, 2004, fought a long battle with mental illness and addiction. Despite his struggles, he was known for his kindness, creativity, and passion for music. He taught himself to play the guitar and created his own beats on his computer, always striving to better himself and bring joy to those around him.
His passing has left his family and friends heartbroken. Misty Cartwright, who referred to Alan as her "bonus Grandson," expressed her sorrow on Facebook, sharing, "It is with a heavy heart that I am posting that we lost my bonus Grandson to addiction & mental health issues. There are so many emotions that I am feeling right now. I pray his soul is now at peace." In honor of Alan, Lillian Salazar has organized a GoFundMe campaign titled "Support Alan’s Family in Their Time of Grief." The funds will help cover funeral expenses and support the family during this difficult time.
