Yoselin was known for her vibrant and giving nature. As the eldest of four siblings, she was always there for her family, showing love and care at every turn. A beloved wife to Alexis Flores, Yoselin’s deep connection with her husband was a source of joy and inspiration to many. In addition to her role as a devoted family member, Yoselin was also a respected and dedicated member of the Vortex Hospitality team for nearly a decade. Her exceptional work ethic and passion for hospitality were evident in her roles at Fulton Hall, Elder Greene, and her most recent position as General Manager at Brookside Market in Sunnyside, Queens. Her colleagues and friends from the Vortex Hospitality family shared how much Yoselin’s presence meant to them, not just as a colleague, but as a steady and compassionate friend.
Yoselin’s passing has left a hole in the hearts of all who knew her, and a fundraiser has been set up to support her family during this difficult time. Donations will go toward honoring Yoselin’s final wishes, including returning her to her hometown in Mexico for her final resting place, as well as covering hospital expenses and other related costs.
A wake will be held in her honor on Sunday, January 5th, 2024, from 5:00-9:00 PM at Rivera Funeral Home, located at 10402 37th Ave, Corona, NY.
