Yolanda Beckworth, Golf View Manor, FL— Yolanda Beckworth has passed away after a lengthy battle with multiple health issues, including polio. She was deeply loved for her positive spirit and commitment to her family and community. Yolanda was known for her infectious sense of humor, often reassuring others with her signature saying, “I’m always good,” even on her toughest days.

Yolanda’s devotion to her family was clear in her role as a guardian to her grandchildren, and she played a vital part in her community through her work with G.R.I.P. (Grandparents Raising Infants and Preschoolers). After the loss of her daughter, Yolanda stepped in to raise her grandchildren and offered support to other grandparents in similar situations. Through G.R.I.P., she organized banquets, provided referrals, and helped families find housing, ensuring they were not alone in their journey.

At this time, Yolanda’s family is seeking assistance with her funeral costs through a fundraiser organized by Angelita Paredes. So far, the community has raised $410, with contributions from Sonja Mann, Kristina McKenney, Frankie Baker-Brown, and Mary Cross.
