William ‘Wil’ P McCloskey II, Dallas, TX—The Dallas community is mourning the tragic loss of William ‘Wil’ P McCloskey II, whose life was taken in a fire on October 12, 2024, at the Las Palamas Mobile Home Park. Wil passed away while asleep on a sofa when the fire, intentionally set in an adjacent home, spread to his residence.
The devastating fire, reportedly started by a neighbor’s girlfriend in a fit of rage, has left Wil’s family heartbroken. He leaves behind his elderly mother and daughter, both of whom are now facing tremendous grief and the challenge of coping with his untimely passing.
Kristin McCloskey, Wil’s sister, has organized a fundraiser to cover the costs of his memorial service, as well as travel expenses for his daughter to attend the service. Additionally, funds will be used to support his mother and daughter with living expenses in the upcoming months.
At this time, the community has the opportunity to extend their condolences and offer financial support through this effort.
We are deeply saddened by the passing of William ‘Wil’ P McCloskey II. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time. May they find strength and peace in the memories shared with him.
