Wendy Zettner, Sterling Heights, MI—The community is mourning the loss of Wendy Zettner, who passed away earlier today. Wendy had been waiting for a liver transplant when she suffered a ruptured gallbladder, which led to sepsis. Sadly, she was too weak to undergo surgery, and her condition deteriorated.
In this difficult time, Wendy’s children are facing overwhelming grief and are not financially prepared for the expenses that follow. A few close friends, led by Beth Stamat, have come forward to organize a fundraiser to cover the funeral costs and alleviate the burden on Wendy’s children. Beth is appealing for help, asking for donations or for people to share the fundraiser so it can reach as many supporters as possible.
The love and support pouring in from the community is evident, with the first donation of $100 from Jomarie Leone and a top donation of $100 from Stacy Murphy. Irene Whitlow also contributed $20 as the most recent donation. All contributions, big or small, are greatly appreciated, and any additional funds raised will go directly to Wendy’s children.
Wendy was known for her big heart and her generous spirit, and those who knew her are honoring her by coming together in her memory.
Our hearts go out to Wendy Zettner’s family. We offer our prayers and thoughts for her children and loved ones during this incredibly painful time.
