Wendy Lappos, Dollard-Des Ormeaux, QC Community Mourns Loss of Devoted Mother and Mentor

Wendy Lappos, Dollard-Des Ormeaux, QC— Wendy Lappos passed away unexpectedly on November 19th, leaving her family, friends, and church community in deep sorrow. Wendy suffered a sudden heart attack and was called home to be with the Lord. She leaves behind her husband, Pastor Alex Lappos, their son Shamar, and countless members of their community who are mourning the loss of a compassionate and dedicated woman.

A fundraiser has been created by Christina Batista-Ferreira to support the Lappos family during this incredibly difficult time. The goal of the fundraiser is to help cover funeral expenses and other related costs, allowing the family to focus on grieving without the added financial burden. As of now, $400 CAD has been raised, with donations from Valerie Dalian, Joel Fillion, Anonymous, and Angela Urbani.

Many people have shared their heartfelt condolences and thoughts on social media, with Randy Christensen writing, "I rejoice for her, but also mourn for those that are left behind. I’m sending love to Alex Lappos and the family and the church family there in Montreal." Brooke Nicole also expressed sorrow, stating, "So sad to hear this. God be near Alex and Shamar!" JoyBell Barber shared her thoughts, adding to the outpouring of support for the grieving family.

Wendy’s warm spirit and dedication to those around her will be remembered by all who knew her. Her family and community will cherish the memories she leaves behind.
