Walter, only 23 years old, had dreams of joining the U.S. Army and was known for his unwavering positivity and determination, even in the face of illness. Laura Young has organized a fundraiser to help Walter’s family bring him home from Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, where he spent his final days.
