Despite the hardships, she remained full of love for the things she adored, such as cats, Disney, baking, and gaming. Her playful spirit and beautiful blue eyes brought light into the lives of her loved ones, especially her baby brother.
In her final days, Violet was surrounded by her devoted family. Her mother stayed by her side day and night, while her father balanced his time between caring for Violet and their younger son. The Grix family faced significant financial strain after months of hospital visits and supporting Violet, with mounting expenses for travel, parking, food, and missed work.
To assist the family, a fundraising campaign has been launched to help cover the medical and funeral costs. Donations will also aid in relieving the financial burden that has accumulated during Violet’s illness and passing.
A Celebration of Life for Violet will be held on Friday, November 29th, from 4-6 pm at Turner & Porter, located at 2180 Hurontario Street, Mississauga. The family hopes to honor Violet’s final birthday wish, which was to celebrate with a big house party.
