Victoria Molyns, Gardnerville Ranchos, NV— The community is grieving the passing of Victoria Molyns, who fought courageously against multiple cancers. Her daughter, Candace Schrader, has been organizing a fundraiser to honor her mother’s final wishes.
Victoria was diagnosed with stage 4 non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma in 2017 and bravely underwent chemotherapy treatments that initially brought her into remission. Sadly, her health took a dramatic turn for the worse in June 2023 when a massive tumor was found on her hip, leading to further diagnoses, including metastatic cancer to the brain and spine. Despite enduring chemotherapy and radiation, her condition deteriorated, and she was recently given only a few days to live.
Candace Schrader, along with her brother, has been by their mother’s side, watching her endure immense pain while continuing to fight for her life. Now, they are seeking support to give Victoria a beautiful celebration of life, which will reflect her wishes for a cremation ceremony surrounded by purple flowers and butterflies.
In a heartfelt message on Facebook, Candace Ruiz shared, "I don’t usually ask for help but at this time I have no other choice. Anything is greatly appreciated so I can give my mom the beautiful and proper burial she deserves and wishes." The outpouring of love and prayers from the community has provided comfort to the grieving family.
The fundraiser, organized by her daughter Candace Schrader, is seeking help from the community to honor Victoria’s final wishes. Every donation, no matter how small, is deeply appreciated during this difficult time.
We extend our deepest condolences to Victoria Molyns’ family. Our thoughts and prayers are with them as they navigate through this profound loss.
