Trevor Eggemeyer, Festus, MO— Trevor Eggemeyer passed away recently, leaving behind a community in mourning. Known for his larger-than-life personality, Trevor had a gift for making everyone around him feel welcome and loved. He was a true friend, a source of joy for children, and an ever-present source of laughter and positivity.
Trevor’s family, along with the entire community, is devastated by his unexpected passing. Pennie Strother has set up a fundraiser to assist with final expenses for his family, aiming to alleviate the financial burden so they can fully grieve without additional stress. As of now, $235 has been raised through generous donations from friends and family, including contributions from Brandon Ziegler, Alec Litzau, and Hannah DePung.
Trevor was known for his infectious humor and selflessness. He had a special way of brightening up any room he entered. Whether he was making others smile during tough times or spending time with children, Trevor was the kind of person who would always put others before himself. His playful interactions with kids, often amusing mothers with his "Trev way" of doing things, are fondly remembered by all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held on Saturday, November 16th, at the Elks Lodge in Festus/Crystal City. The event will open at 12:00 pm, with the ceremony starting at 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention or to the Festus/Crystal City Elks Lodge. The family has expressed their deep gratitude for the outpouring of support and love during this incredibly difficult time.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Trevor’s family and friends as they navigate through their grief. May Trevor’s memory continue to bring light and laughter to all who loved him.
