Tony Rodisel passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2024, while on a vacation cruise, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and compassion. His passing has deeply affected his loved ones, especially his wife, Trish Rodisel, and those who knew him through his work and personal life.
Tony was known for his thoughtful nature, always considering how he could help others. One of his wishes was to see Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) available at sporting facilities, a life-saving cause close to his heart. In 2018, Tony experienced a medical emergency, and his coworkers were able to save his life using an AED, giving him extra precious years with his family and friends.
A fundraiser organized by Machelle Odonnell aims to fulfill Tony’s wish of supporting AEDs in sports facilities and to assist with the unexpected expenses of bringing Tony home from New York City. He had been on a cruise when he passed away, and the funds raised will help cover transportation and other costs for his family during this difficult time.
Several generous individuals have already donated to the cause, including Tracy Lewis, who contributed $200, along with donations from Machelle Edwards and Maria Bechtel. Their support and kindness are a reflection of the community’s love and respect for Tony and his family.
We extend our deepest sympathies to Trish Rodisel and all who loved Tony. May his legacy of helping others live on, and may his memory bring comfort to those grieving his loss.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Rodisel family during this heartbreaking time.
