Toni Cricket Williams, Maryland—It is with profound sadness that we report the passing of Toni Cricket Williams, who tragically passed away on August 2, 2024, in a car accident. Toni was a cherished mother, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend, known for her strong, outgoing, and loving personality.
Her untimely passing leaves a deep void for her family and friends. Toni was the devoted mother of four children: Br’yonna (20), Mehki (18), Ni’Jae (14), and Ju’styce (4), as well as a bonus child, Clarence Reid 5th. Her children were her priority, and she was the light in every room she entered, bringing joy to all who knew her.
A fundraiser has been set up by Shantiera Williams to support Toni’s children, aiming to raise $40,000 for their educational and future needs. As of now, $975 has been raised from 22 donations, with recent and top donations coming from Tierra Wilkins ($25) and an anonymous donor ($125).
The community has shown immense support and sympathy through touching Facebook posts. Kiyah Williams expressed her heartbreak, saying, "I will never understand why I blame myself… who I’m going to confide in now… My heart has been so broken all day I can’t stop crying." Bria Hall and others extended their condolences, with Amy Schultz Lauer and Carmen Norwood sending their love and prayers.
Toni’s memory will be cherished by all who knew her. Her visitation will be held on Friday, August 16th from 5 pm-9 pm at Howell Funeral Homes Howard County in Jessup, MD, and her funeral service will be on Saturday, August 17th at 11:00 am at Bethel Ministries, Inc. in Savage, MD.
We are deeply saddened by the loss of Toni Cricket Williams. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family during this difficult time.
