Timothy “Tim” E. Brown, Blue Springs, NE— Timothy “Tim” E. Brown, 63, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2024, at his home surrounded by family. Born on April 24, 1961, in Nebraska City, Tim’s life was marked by love, resilience, and a deep sense of community.
Tim was a man of many talents, working in various roles throughout his life, including at BSDC and on several farms, where he became known for his hard work and dedication. A pivotal moment in his life occurred while working for a drilling company, when he believed he heard someone call his name, prompting him to step away from a drilling rig just before it collapsed. He always considered this to be the work of a guardian angel, shaping his faith and perspective on life.
Tim was married to Hope McGinty on July 6, 1994, and together they operated an ice cream truck in Beatrice, sharing joyful moments with their children Dillon and Dezirae. He was known for his love of hunting, fishing, small engine work, and for his time spent visiting with family and friends. His favorite pastimes included grilling, sipping coffee, and enjoying a Diet Pepsi.
A fundraiser has been organized by Esequiel Cuevas to help with funeral and medical expenses. As of today, $200 has been raised from generous donations from Billie Morter, Terry Morgan, Sheila Cordry, and ChelRae Cuevas.
Funeral services for Tim will take place on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 10:30 AM at Harman-Wright Mortuary in Beatrice, with Chaplain Sharon Schuster officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Home Cemetery. Visitation will be held today, December 19, 2024, from noon to 8 PM, with the family greeting friends from 5 to 7 PM.
Our heartfelt prayers are with the family during this difficult time. May Tim’s memory live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
