Terrance Lewis, Louisiana Tech— The community is mourning the loss of Terrance Lewis, who passed away on August 3, 2024. Terrance was a beloved friend and former student of Louisiana Tech, remembered fondly by those who knew him during his college years and beyond.

Terrance, affectionately nicknamed "Big Gulp," was known for his vibrant personality and deep connections with his friends. Ryan McNabb, a close friend, shared heartfelt memories on Facebook, recalling their adventures and the bond they formed during college. "I met Terrance the summer between my Freshman and Sophomore year at Louisiana Tech, and we quickly became good friends," Ryan wrote. He reminisced about their time together, from listening to music to making grilled cheese sandwiches on an iron. Ryan highlighted Terrance’s love for Janet Jackson records and his humorous suggestion of towing Terrance behind his Camaro with a cart full of records.

Robyn Allen, another close friend, also shared her sorrow, reminiscing about their high school and college days. "Terrence was one of a kind… a sweet, kind-hearted soul, so fun-loving. He’s already missed by so many," she posted.

In response to Terrance’s passing, Sean Jackson organized a fundraiser to support his homegoing celebration. The fundraiser, with a goal of $500, aims to cover funeral arrangements and a luncheon scheduled for Saturday, August 10, 2024. As of now, no donations have been made, but the community is encouraged to contribute to honor Terrance’s memory.
