Her home was a sanctuary for these furry companions, and she often spent hours cuddling with them, sharing stories and secrets. In addition to her love for animals, Tara was an avid traveler. She had a unique hobby of collecting rocks from the various places she visited, from the rugged shores of Vancouver Island to the mystical landscapes of Ireland. Each rock was a cherished memento, holding a special memory of her adventures.
Her adventurous spirit was contagious. Tara embraced life with a sense of wonder and encouraged others to do the same. Whether hiking through dense forests, kayaking on serene lakes, or camping under the stars, she lived for the thrill of exploration. In the wake of her passing, a fundraiser has been organized by Shanna Acton to assist Tara’s family with funeral expenses. The community has come together to support this cause, with $550 CAD raised out of a $5,000 goal through the kindness of five donors.
