Tana Marie Pearson, Monticello, IN Community Mourns Beloved Mother and Grandmother

Tana Marie Pearson, Monticello, IN – It is with deep sadness that we report the passing of Tana Marie Pearson, age 53, of Monticello, Indiana, who passed away on December 4, 2024, at 9:46 AM at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. Tana’s death has left a profound void in the hearts of her family and friends, and the community she cherished.

Tana was born on July 13, 1971, in Monticello, Indiana, to Robert Mull and Pamela Scriven. She attended Frontier High School, where she began to form lasting friendships that would become a core part of her life. Tana was a woman known for her boundless generosity, infectious laughter, and a sense of humor that could light up any room. Her ability to make those around her feel appreciated and loved was one of the many qualities that endeared her to so many.

She was united in marriage to Randy J. Pearson, who sadly passed away in 2018. Tana’s love for her family, especially her children and grandchildren, was a testament to her nurturing and caring spirit. Her dedication extended beyond her immediate family as she lovingly adopted two of her grandchildren, raising them from birth. Tana’s legacy will live on through her children, grandchildren, and the many lives she touched with her kindness and compassion.

In honor of her memory, a Celebration of Life ceremony will be held on Monday, December 16th, at Hartzler Clapper Funeral Home in Brookston, Indiana, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. The family invites all who knew Tana to join them in remembering her extraordinary life.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to help support her daughter, Stevee Pearson, as she continues raising Tana’s adopted grandchildren, Rilan Thomas and Josiah Pearson. These contributions will assist in providing them with a loving and nurturing environment.

Tana’s spirit, kindness, and selflessness will never be forgotten. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace.
