Sue H. George, Page, AZ—Our dear Sue H. George sadly passed away on July 31, 2024, leaving a void in the hearts of her family and friends. Sue was a wonderful mother, partner, grandmother, aunt, and sister, known for her abundant support, wisdom, and love. She was a cherished member of the Page, Arizona community and a friend to many.
Sue is preceded in death by her son Sheldon Ray George, her parents Nellie and Webster Haskie, and her companion Michael Plasterer. She is survived by her two daughters, Tawnya Laughlin and Tamra George, her son Glendon Ray George, who has been missing since May 2013, eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Sue’s warmth and generosity were felt by countless friends and family members.
To honor Sue’s memory, her daughter Tamra George has organized a fundraiser titled "Honoring Sue H. George: Funeral Donations." The goal is to raise $4,200 to cover funeral expenses. As of now, the fundraiser has yet to receive its first donation.
The funeral for Sue will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at the Latter Day Saints Stake Center located at 1301 N Navajo Dr, Page, AZ. The viewing is scheduled from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by funeral services from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Burial will take place at 1:00 PM at the Page City Cemetery, with a reception immediately following the burial.
