Steve Hill, Phoenix—It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our dear friend, Steve Hill. Known by many as DJ Klu, Steve was an integral part of the nightlife scene in Phoenix, bringing joy and music to countless lives as a talented DJ for over a decade. His passion for music extended far beyond Phoenix, traveling the world with the tribute band "One More Time," bringing the magic of Daft Punk to fans everywhere.
Steve was the soundtrack to some of our most cherished memories. His humble and kind nature made everyone feel special, whether through his music or his easygoing personality. Tragically, Steve passed away from complications related to Crohn’s Disease, leaving an immense void in our hearts and in the life of his beloved wife, Lauren.
Lauren has shown incredible strength during this difficult time. To support her, Danielle Zampino has organized a fundraiser to help cover medical bills and funeral expenses, with a goal of $40,000. This fundraiser aims to give Lauren a moment to grieve and reduce the stress of the unexpected costs associated with Steve’s passing.
One cherished memory of Steve is how he always took song requests and invited friends up on stage with him, making everyone feel like rockstars. His simple acts of kindness exemplified who he was—someone who genuinely cared about the happiness of others.
