Spring City, TN— Sir William Neudorff the Second, a beloved member of the Tennessee Medieval Faire and Tennessee Pirate Festival community, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 22, 2024, from a massive heart attack. Sir William was a well-known figure, adored for his interactions with Faire patrons, especially those who were shy. His presence was a comforting and familiar one, leaving a lasting impression on all who met him.
A talented dancer, street character, and stage combat performer, Sir William’s contributions to these festivals were immeasurable. His military service during the Cold War, where he proudly served as a tanker stationed in Germany, was another aspect of his life that he held dear.
William’s passion for history was reflected in his work making custom shields, and his love for his family was apparent in his deep affection for his daughter Mercedes and granddaughter Esmerelda. His sudden passing has left his family grappling with unexpected burial costs.
To assist with his cremation and other expenses, a fundraiser has been set up by Matt Pfeiffer. As of now, $160 has been raised, with donations from kind-hearted community members. The community has also rallied behind his family, showing support through emotional tributes and donations.
Sir William’s legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew him, and his Faire Family and friends will forever remember his warmth and spirited presence.
We are deeply saddened by Sir William Neudorff the Second’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time.
