Silipaphay “Dee” Nonnarath, Brentwood, CA— The community is deeply saddened by the passing of Silipaphay “Dee” Nonnarath, who tragically lost her battle with a rare and aggressive form of lung cancer on August 20, 2024. Dee, a non-smoker, was diagnosed with this incurable disease just four weeks before her passing. By the time of diagnosis, the cancer had already advanced to Stage 4, spreading to her bones and heart, leaving her and her loved ones with little time to prepare for this heartbreaking loss.
Dee is survived by her five children: Devin (22), Nathan (19), Brandon (17), Jaron (14), and Dina (9), as well as her significant other, Leck. The sudden loss has left her family in mourning, struggling to cope with the emotional and financial challenges that lie ahead.
In an effort to support Dee’s family during this difficult time, Rikki Hall, the future mother-in-law of Dee’s son Devin, has organized a GoFundMe fundraiser. The funds raised will help cover the substantial medical expenses incurred during Dee’s treatment, as well as the upcoming funeral costs. As of now, the fundraiser has reached $200 of its $10,000 goal, with contributions from generous supporters including Lexie Hall and Rikki Hall.
The loss of Dee has left a significant void in the lives of those who knew and loved her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, who will cherish the time they had with her. The community is coming together to offer their support during this incredibly challenging time.
We extend our deepest sympathies to the family of Silipaphay “Dee” Nonnarath. Our thoughts and prayers are with them as they navigate this profound loss. May Dee rest in peace, and may her family find strength and comfort in the love and support surrounding them.
