Severo Alberto Marello, The Crossings, FL— The community is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Severo “Alberto” Marello on August 18, 2024. Alberto, as he was affectionately known, was a cherished partner, father, and friend who left an indelible mark on those who knew him. His passing has brought immense grief to his family, particularly to his wife, Graciela, who lost her partner of over 56 years, and his daughter, Barbara “Barbie” Marello, who is now dealing with the loss of both her husband and father within a year.

In response to this heartbreaking loss, a fundraiser has been organized by Tracy Viciedo-Hernandez, a close friend of Barbie, to help alleviate the financial burden associated with Alberto’s funeral expenses. The goal is to raise $5,000, and so far, $760 has been contributed through the generosity of four donors. The donations have come from Karla Oliva ($100), Carol Diez ($500), Odilia Plog ($60), and Tracy Viciedo-Hernandez herself ($100).

This outpouring of support from the community is a testament to the love and respect that Alberto garnered throughout his life. Tracy expressed her hope that these contributions will help ease the financial strain on Barbie and Graciela during this difficult time.
