A bright and radiant young man, Sean’s untimely death has left his family, friends, and the community in deep sorrow.
Sean was driving home from band camp on the evening of Friday, August 2nd, when his vehicle was struck head-on by a drunk driver. Known for his infectious smile and leadership as the captain of his high school band, Sean’s presence will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
His parents, Stuart and Jane Herd, along with his brother Jim, are struggling to come to terms with this immense loss. The community has shown an outpouring of support through heartfelt messages and prayers shared on Facebook. Stuart Herd expressed his heartbreak, saying, "My handsome boy," while Jim Herd shared, "There are no words to express how heartbroken I am. I love you so much, Sean."
