His family fondly remembers him as a caring husband to Claudia and a loving step-father. His presence was a constant source of joy and support, especially to his stepchildren.
Despite being a hardworking man with two decades of service as a Scots Guard, Scott had fallen ill after the pandemic and had been out of work for some time. His passing came suddenly, leaving his family struggling to cover funeral costs after a significant reduction in social fund support.
A GoFundMe page has been set up by Isobel Berman to help with the remaining funeral expenses. The fundraiser, supported by the kindness of the community, also aims to raise awareness for Bowel Research UK, a cause close to Scott’s heart.
