Sally married Carl Walden on January 14, 1962, and their enduring partnership was a testament to love and devotion. She is survived by Carl, their cherished daughter Kimberly Jo Walden, and many adored grandchildren, including Jacob Ryan McDonald, Chase Walden, and Somer Walden.
Sally’s joyful spirit was infectious. Known for her love of dressing up and storytelling, she brought laughter to every room she entered. Her culinary skills, especially her meatballs and red sauce, were legendary among those fortunate enough to taste them.
Sally’s dedication to spreading the gospel of Jesus touched countless lives, making her a beacon of hope and inspiration. Her warmth, kindness, and faith left an indelible mark on everyone who knew her.
Sally was predeceased by her son, Kenneth Lee Walden; grandson, Randy Lee Walden; sisters, Brenda Shaffer and Dolores McCann; and her parents, Raymond and Kathleen Medori.
A celebration of Sally’s life will be held at Cornerstone Baptist Church on Monday, August 5th, at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations via GoFundMe to support Sally’s family during this challenging time.
