Ryan Gregg, Conway, SC— Ryan Gregg passed away peacefully on August 24, 2024, at the home of his oldest daughter. He was 50 years old. Ryan was a cherished father, grandfather, and friend, remembered for his love of working on cars, his passion for hunting, and his fondness for fishing.
Ryan was preceded in death by his wife, Meghan; his son, Brenden; his brother, Kyle; and his parents, Martha and Bill. He leaves behind his devoted daughters, Devyn (Ben) Diamond and Kamryn Gregg, as well as his beloved grandchildren, Leo, Alexander, and Nora Gail. He is also survived by his sisters, Diane and Gail (Ed); his brothers, Mark (Rachel) and Brian (Devra); and numerous nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
The community has shown an outpouring of love and support in response to Ryan’s passing. Maddy Katz shared, "I am so sorry." Angela Bowe expressed her condolences by saying, "I am so sorry for your loss and our class of 1992. You are in my prayers." Brian S Loar also sent his sympathies, adding, "Sending prayers." Many others, including Chrystal Card, Mitzi Jo, Martina VonBargen, and Mary Sharp, extended their love and prayers to the family.
A fundraiser organized by Charlotte Thompson has been set up to help cover the funeral expenses. Although the goal is set at $8,000, the campaign is still in need of donations. The family is deeply grateful for any support during this difficult time.
Ryan’s life will be celebrated at a later date, and the family appreciates all the kindness and care they have received. In lieu of flowers, they request that donations be made to assist with the cost of the arrangements.
