Roger Farrish, Sayville, NY Community Mourns Unexpected Loss

Roger Farrish, Sayville, NY— Roger Farrish passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 22, 2024, leaving a profound void in the lives of his family and friends. Roger was 56 years old at the time of his passing, which occurred due to a massive heart attack.

Roger’s death has deeply affected his wife, Cathy Lynn, and their 12-year-old daughter, Chloe Lynn Farrish. Roger was a beloved member of the community, and his sudden passing has led his friends to come together in support of his family. A fundraiser has been organized by Thom Lippman, a close friend of Roger’s, to assist with funeral expenses and to help establish a fund for Chloe’s education, as per Roger’s wishes.

In a touching gesture, Thom Lippman and other friends of the Farrish family have already raised $175 through donations from Mimi Todaro, Thom Lippman and Lorri Rogers, and Craig Richardson. The goal is to continue raising funds to ease the financial burden on Cathy during this difficult time.

Roger’s family has decided that his cremation will take place privately with only close family present. A Celebration of Roger’s Life will be held on Sunday, January 12, 2025, at the VFW Post 433, Sayville, NY, where friends and family can gather between 9 AM and noon to honor Roger’s memory over coffee, tea, and bagels.
