Rickey Lee Elliott, Reno, NV— Rickey Lee Elliott, a cherished family member and Vietnam War veteran, passed away on December 15, 2024, after a long battle with multiple serious health conditions. He was surrounded by his family, friends, and his loyal dog, Blitz, in his final moments at home. Rickey’s life, marked by his courage and enduring spirit, ended after struggling with conditions such as COPD, emphysema, heart failure, and liver failure, among others.
Rickey, originally from various places, including Vicella, CA, Kanis City, MI, and St. Louis, MI, had called Reno, NV, his home for the past 30 years. A decorated Marine, Rickey served his country in Vietnam, and despite his struggles with addiction and health issues, he always lived life with a sense of humor and determination. Even in his last days, he joked about making "a final trip to the club."
