Richard Thomas Jr, Nolanville, TX— Richard Thomas Jr passed away on December 26, 2024, leaving the community in sorrow. Richard, who dedicated over sixty years of his life to serving others, was a beloved member of his community and a faithful servant of God.
For two decades, Richard served in the U.S. Army, and even in his retirement, he remained deeply committed to helping those in need. He was a frequent volunteer, waking up early every Wednesday to feed the homeless and attending Charis Bible School. His devotion extended to various ministries, where he worked with the Reach Out and Touch ministry at the Christian House of Prayer and with local nursing homes. Additionally, he contributed to the Outreach Ministry at Rivers of Living Water, feeding the homeless and living out the teachings of James 1:22.
Richard’s sudden passing has left a void, and his loved ones are now turning to the community for support. A fundraiser, organized by Racheal Broussard on behalf of Rose Bonet, has been set up to help cover expenses. As of now, $525 has been raised through the generosity of several donors, including Pamela Woodeshick, Kaitlin Dziuk, and Nicole Machen.
