A levee failure on the Rock River forced the family to evacuate their home in a flash flood emergency. Though they escaped with their lives, they lost their home, adding to the immense emotional and financial strain they had already been enduring.
Randall’s nephew, Daniel Bliek, has organized a memorial fundraiser to help alleviate some of the burdens on the family during this incredibly difficult time. The Randall Lee Bliek Memorial Fund has been set up to provide support as the family navigates their grief and financial challenges. The first donation of $5 has already been made to this effort.
