Rafan Jaan—It is with deep sorrow that we report the passing of Rafan Jaan, who left us on the 14th of August, 2024. Known for his warm and generous spirit, Rafan was beloved by his family and friends alike. He was a man of laughter, always ready to brighten up a room with his contagious smile and uplifting jokes, even in difficult times.

Rafan was remembered by David Harrison, who shared a heartfelt message on Facebook. "I met Rafan 14 years ago, and we quickly became good friends. He was there for me in troubled times, always smiling and joking, even when things were tough for him. He was a beautiful person, inside and out, always putting his family and friends first," David wrote. "I will miss you, brother. And when my time comes, you’ll still owe me that Indian meal."
