Phillip Lemieux Jr., affectionately known as Buttercup or BC, passed away recently, leaving a deep void in the hearts of his family and friends. Known for his contagious smile and unwavering support, BC was more than just a friend to many; he was family. His selflessness, humor, generosity, and loyalty touched countless lives, making him a cherished member of the Charleston community.
BC was always ready to offer advice, lend a helping hand, or lighten the mood with a joke. His positive energy could turn anyone’s bad day around. His legacy will live on through the stories and memories shared by those who knew him, as well as through his final gift of becoming an organ donor, helping others even after his passing.
One of BC’s greatest loves was his wife, Georgia. Their bond was profound, and his devotion to her was evident to all who knew them. In this challenging time, a fundraiser organized by Hannah Carter has been set up to support Georgia with any expenses she may face. The community has rallied together, raising $475 out of a $2,000 goal to help ease the burden on BC’s beloved wife.
We extend our deepest sympathies to Georgia and all who were touched by BC’s life. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
