Born and raised in Memaliaj, Pellumb dedicated 37 years of his life to teaching, touching the lives of many students in his community.
Two years ago, Pellumb moved to the United States with his wife to be near their daughter, Ina, and her family. However, shortly after arriving, Pellumb was diagnosed with two different types of cancer in May of this year. Despite undergoing numerous treatments and maintaining an optimistic outlook, he passed away two days ago.
His wife and daughter, who had been his constant caregivers, now face not only the emotional loss but also the financial strain from medical bills, funeral expenses, and the transportation of his body to Albania, his final wish. His family is deeply appreciative of the support they have received and any contribution during this difficult time is welcomed.
