Born on October 28, 1946, in Roaring Spring, Pennsylvania, Paula was the youngest of six siblings, all of whom have since passed. She was also predeceased by her husband of 22 years, Michael Dalton. Despite these losses, Paula leaves behind a loving family, including her two sons, Stephen T. Roach and William N. Roach, III (Billy), along with his wife Leanne, and four grandchildren—Kristina Breaux (and her husband Matthew), Stephanie Roach, Brittany Roach, and Shawn Johnson (with his wife Diane). Paula also leaves four great-granddaughters: Emma Breaux, Olivia Breaux, Amelia Johnson, and Madelyn Johnson.
Paula’s infectious sense of humor and bright spirit endeared her to everyone she met. She will be remembered for the joy she brought to her family and friends and her ability to connect with others through warmth and laughter. Paula’s family finds solace in knowing she has been reunited with her late husband, Michael, in heaven.
Paula’s cremation was in accordance with her wishes. A memorial service will be held on November 23, 2024, at Twin City Funeral Home in Morgan City from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, followed by a reception. Donations to assist with funeral expenses are being collected through a fundraiser organized by Kristina Breaux.
