Paul Nell—Brighton has sadly lost one of its beloved residents, Paul Nell, who passed away on October 22. Known throughout the community for his tireless work and dedication, Paul played a vital role in helping his neighbors and making the Brighton area a better place for everyone.
Paul was always there to lend a hand, whether it was towing stuck vehicles during snowstorms, repairing broken water lines, or offering support to those recovering from addiction. His kindness and willingness to help made him a cornerstone of the Brighton community, and his absence is deeply felt.
Chris Eisenberg has organized a fundraiser to assist Paul’s family during this difficult time. With four children now facing the challenging days and months ahead, the community is coming together to ease their burden. Part of the donations will also go toward supporting suicide prevention efforts, a cause close to the family’s heart.
Generous donations have already begun pouring in to support Paul’s family. Contributions from Ross, Kathy, and Mary McIntyre, Alexander Wheeler, Sheva and Tom Sanders, Kevin Shilling, and others reflect the love and respect the community has for Paul and the lasting impact he had on those around him.
Paul’s commitment to his community will never be forgotten. He leaves behind a legacy of service, compassion, and unwavering support for his neighbors, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Our heartfelt prayers and thoughts go out to Paul Nell’s family during this incredibly difficult time.
