Patricia Crose, Lawton, OK— Patricia Crose passed away on December 14th, 2024, leaving behind a community that will always remember her warmth and kindness. Born on May 5th, 1957, in Anchorage, Alaska, Patricia grew up between Oregon and Oklahoma. She was the oldest of 12 siblings, and a cherished mother of three children, two sons, and one daughter.
Patricia was a lifelong Elvis Presley fan, had a special love for cats, and enjoyed crocheting in her spare time. Red, especially candy apple red, was her favorite color, and red roses were her beloved flowers. She had a profound love for horror films, which she playfully referred to as "spooky movies."
For over 25 years, Patricia worked in a nursing home, dedicated to helping others. Later, she worked as a bus monitor for special needs and handicapped children. Despite never owning a car, Patricia was known for walking everywhere and ensuring that no one ever felt unimportant. She was an outspoken woman, always speaking her mind, but with a heart full of compassion.
As her children grew, Patricia remained close with her daughter, with whom she shared a special bond. They moved across the states together, and Patricia’s life was filled with moments of love, adventure, and devotion to family. Though Patricia is no longer with us, her spirit lives on through her family and in the songs of Elvis and her favorite films.
The community, including friends and family, has come together to raise funds for Patricia’s cremation expenses, with the goal of providing her with a respectful farewell.
We extend our deepest sympathies to Patricia’s family and loved ones during this difficult time.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
